It is vital for there to be a risk assessment, for the safety of the group so that we are aware of any possible dangers whilst filming and to be ready to take any precautions against them. As everyone part of the team would want to feel safe whilst doing their part. During our filming we did encounter a minor risk such as, when one of the group members had slipped over the charger lead - this could of lead to injuring the member severely and potentially damaging the camera and possessions within the house. However apart from that we were fine as we were aware of other potential risks during the production process.
Filming Schedule:
Our group members were: Reece, Lucy, James and myself
We planned to film on the 27th November, 3rd, 4th and 11th of December. We created a filming schedule so that we could manage our time and work more efficiently - getting more done in during each of our scheduled times.
The benefits of having a filming schedule is so that the whole group can be organised and be prepared of the aims set for the day we are filming. With this in hand we all can see who is needed and is important for a particular scene or shot, this allows the group to be as efficient as possible as whilst filming we will not be wasting any time in deciding which shot or scene we are going to do every 2-3 minutes. This had benefited our production as we could use some time to relax - rather than just filming every minute. Through the use of the filming schedule we could smoothly film, allowing us more time to re-film each scene again if needed. Majority of the time we as a group followed the plan, however there were some difficulties whilst filming making the filming time longer and harder for us to film - (for example when we were filming some difficult shots we had to take time to alter it sometimes) and we therefore made changes.
